Fundamentals: Scenework focuses on the core of improvised theatre, the two-person scene. This course will center on creating scenes with a satisfying beginning, middle and end that will delight audiences. From establishing a strong base reality to playing with status, this class is great for new students or returning veterans looking to sharpen their performance skills.

The Mopco Improv Fundamentals Wheel

Each of the four classes in the Fundamentals Wheel offers work on the core tenets of improv through a unique lens. The four classes are: Environment, Character, Narrative, and Scene. These reflect basic skill areas that good improv demands, all using the same core principles. You can jump into the wheel at any point.
