Monday Night Improv
A monthly class for improvisers of all skill levels!
Maybe you are improv-curious, a newly netted newbie, or an old pro looking to pick up a quick improv power boost—or visiting: perhaps you’re the the cream of the Peekskill improv crop— whatever the case, a Mopco Drop-In has the pop you need to stop your flop and prop your top! Or something very much like that...
Each class is custom designed in the moment based on the makeup of the group attending. You don’t have to commit to multiple weeks, you can take-one-skip-one-take-another, or any other combination you fancy!
Often, roughly ten students attend; our cut off is 16. On the off chance that less than four show up (that’s three) we’ll refund your money and go fishing.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
18. We offer youth classes for younger improvisers! Check out our mopco.org/classes to find a class.
How active are these classes?
Our classes involve a good amount of physical activity - you should feel comfortable being on your feet for at least an hour. Please email email@example.com with any questions about accommodations for ability.
What is your policy on absences from class?
After two absences, students will not be able to participate in the performance at the end of the class.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Street parking is available on Union and N Jay street by our Theatre. Parking is available in the lot behind Perecca's as well as other public lots within a short walk of the theatre. The lot directly across from us is reserved for the Rossi & Ditorro Funeral Home and is not always available for parking. DO NOT park in the lot by JoJo’s Auto Service or you will be towed. Find our more and see a detailed map of parking options available around us here
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for general inquiries or call us at (518) 577-6726
What's the refund policy?
Cancellations for a full refund must be made 7 days or more prior to the first class. Less than 7 days: Your place in the class is non-refundable unless we can get someone to fill your spot.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Please make sure we know the name of the student we expect in class.
