Matt Rogers is a lifelong capital district resident. Growing up in Amsterdam, he learned the best way to cut through monotony is humor shared with others. Dallying with the stage in high school, and part of a sketch comedy “group” at the University of Rochester that didn’t make it out of the first meeting, he has always had an itch for performance. After some gentle encouragement, he began taking classes with Mopco and found joy in improv. Working for New York State government, he now finds himself laughing every day.
